Sponsored Manchester United Santa Dash Sun 7th December, 11am – 2pm

Santa Dash, 7th December, 2013 Heaton Park

If you fancy following in the footsteps of your United heroes while raising money for charity, and getting into the festive spirit at the same time, then the annual Manchester United Foundation Santa Run is just for you!

The fun run is organised by the Manchester United Foundation and over a 1,000 Santa clad runners took part in the run last year! The worthy causes supported by the Foundation – Francis House Children’s Hospice, The Christie and Unicef – will all benefit from the money raised by the entrance fees, but runners can also raise money for Barnabus through sponsorship.

All we ask is that you raise a minimum of £50 in sponsorship for us. If 50 or more runners register to run for Barnabus we can have a charity stand which will raise awareness and we will even get a team picture together in the stadium so please ask your friends and colleagues to join you and make it a day to remember!

There’ll also be plenty of festive fun around the ground on the day, with Santa taking time off from his preparations to drop into his grotto, a brass band playing your favourite Christmas tunes and a fancy dress competition with the chance to win an exclusively signed Manchester United item and prizes for the best dressed child and best dressed adult
The Santa Dash is taking place on Sunday 7th December; you can opt for either the 5km route for more serious runners or the 2km family fun. Both start and end at Old Trafford, with the 5km route starting at 11.30am taking in the Imperial War Museum, the Lowry Theatre and Media City. The shorter 2km family fun run starts at 12.30pm and will head around the stadium. This route is fully wheelchair/buggy accessible and It doesn’t matter if you run, jog or walk as long as you are having fun!
And if you're feeling fit you can even use your ticket to run both runs
Both runs end in style, with the finishing line at the end of the player’s tunnel in the Theatre of Dreams itself!
It’s £25 for family entrance, £10 for a single entry and £5 for kids. The price includes a Santa hat for kids, a full Santa suit for adults and medals.

Don’t miss out!

Book your tickets here and tell us you’re running! Email carol@barnabusmanchester.co.uk we will be in touch with a poster and sponsor form to help you meet your fundraising target!

Parking will be available in car park E2 which is situated on Sir Matt Busby Way and will only be accessible via Chester Road due to road closures. After parking, please cross to the stadium and walk under the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand at the North side of the Stadium to the International Suite.
