5 Mile Fun Run in Heaton Park, 10.00am Sunday 1st April 2012
Calling all runners; make a difference and join in the fun!
On Sunday 1st of April 2012 at 10am a group of students from Manchester Metropolitan University Business School are holding a 5 mile run at Heaton Park in conjunction with Sweatshop, who will be timing the event. The students are raising money in order to support Barnabus, a Christian Homeless Charity based in Manchester.M.
The 5 mile run is open to everyone aged 17 and above with entry just £5 per runner. If participants would like to donate more money this would be greatly appreciated we can also supply you with sponsorship forms if you would like to raise extra funds this way. All monies raised will go towards the ongoing and increasing work of Barnabus who offer a lifeline to around 450 visiting homeless each week through their drop-in and collaborative projects.
